Cpl. Davis joined the Army shortly after September 11, 2001.  He completed Basic Training at Fort Sill, OK, and was assigned to Second Brigade Combat Team, 17th Field Artillery.  He was first deployed to the DMZ in South Korea, then with additional training, was deployed to Ar Ramadi, Iraq.  After one year, his Team returned to Fort Carson, CO.  His Alpha Battery was given The Henry Knox Award for honorary achievements during combat service. (See February 2006 Issue of Field Artillery Magazine.) Davis was then sent to Fort Jackson, SC to receive training as a Recruiter.  His office is located in Clearview Mall in Butler County where he resides with his wife, Jenny, their daughter and a new Baby Davis to arrive any day now.
