Ed has been in the Air Force for 23 years. He's currently deployed with the 506th Air Expeditionary Group in Iraq. When he comes home in late May '05, he'll return to Tyndall Air Force Base in Florida where he's stationed with the 325th Fighter Wing. Ed is originally from Mars and has family in the Butler area.



#1 An Iraqi HAS (Hardened Aircraft Shelter). Once used to hide & protect their aircraft......Not anymore!


#2 This is our Clamtina. It is a little variation of cantina which I am guessing it got it’s name from the clam shaped tent. This is a recreation sort of tent where movies, card game competitions, and other activities are held. Bingo is also held here weekly. You've never really played bingo until you’ve played with a hundred or so GIs. It’s an experience!


#3 We (not me, but the good guys) are continually confiscating the bad guys stuff--makes it all a little safer for us.
