This week's student athlete of the week is Butler High School swimmer, Molly Evans. The senior was recently named a 2006 Scholastic All-American by USA Swimming. Evans qualified for the honor by competing in the 2006 Speedo Championships in Annapolis, Maryland and maintaining a grade point average of 3.5 or higher. Evans also received an award for maintaining a 4.0 GPA for the 2005-06 school year. During the 2005-06 season, she became the first female Golden Tornado swimmer to reach the PIAA Championships since 1994. Congratulations Molly!
