Pens Could Get Kunitz Back Print E-mail

The Pittsburgh Penguins have the next two days off before taking on the Montreal Canadiens on Saturday night.  The Pens need a win because Ottawa won their 10th straight game last night and are just three points behind the Pens for third place in the Eastern Conference.  The Pens may have some good news yesterday, winger Chris Kunitz is just about ready to return to the lineup.  Kunitz, who had surgery Jan. 6 to repair a torn abdominal muscle, could be back in uniform as early as Saturday, when the Penguins visit Montreal.  Defenseman Jay McKee, who missed the Penguins' 5-4 victory Monday against Buffalo with an undisclosed injury, practiced Wednesday afternoon and is expected to play on Saturday.
