Nine youths are being charged with trashing a camp in Lawrence County Saturday.

New Castle-based State Police say that nine local youths between the ages of 14 and 19 trespassed on the property of a Youngstown-area man at Hillsville Quarry in Mahoning Township by bypassing a locked gate and camping in an area along the lake.  Five of the nine campers burned the victim's campsite items that were at the scene, including a wooden picnic table, plywood, lawn chairs, a tire and a 4x4 wooden cross.

Police say that garbage was strewn about the campsite and thrown into the lake.  All nine face charges relative to trespassing, criminal mischief and littering.
