The South Butler County School District is proud to announce that Knoch High School will "Flip the Switch" for the 2008-09 "Classrooms for the Future" grant next month.

The grant, provided by the State Department of Education, will be celebrated on Friday, May 1st at 10am with a special "Flip the Switch" ceremony.  Participants in the ceremony include students, staff, administrators, school board members, and state legislators.  Following this, attendees will be given an opportunity to view two Classrooms For the Future in action.

The district received $165,458 in CFF grant money, which provided the district with 150 laptop computers on five mobile carts, 17 teacher laptops, 15 promethean whiteboards, and 15 projectors.  A part-time CFF coach was also hired with grant funds to assist in the technology's implementation.
